The Westchester Alphas Educational Foundation (WAEF) is a beacon of hope and opportunity for young men of color in Westchester County. Founded by members of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Eta Zeta Lambda chapter, our mission is to provide information, access to educational opportunities, scholarships, and financial assistance to graduating young men pursuing higher education at accredited two or four-year colleges and universities.
Our Legacy of Excellence
Established in 2001, the Westchester Alphas Educational Foundation has a rich history of awarding scholarships and book awards to deserving young men in Westchester County. We uphold values of academic excellence, community service, and leadership in selecting recipients who exemplify the spirit of our foundation.

Our past scholarship recipients have gone on to attend prestigious institutions such as Princeton University, Brown University, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, The University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, Duke University, and Howard University.
